Sammy is an 8-year-old hound mix who was found abandoned at a convenience store. Luckily, she was rescued and brought to us. She's gentle, loving, and the sweetest pup. We are hopeful that a loving family will adopt this beauty and bring her home right in time for the holidays.

No Senior Left Behind
At the Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland, we never give up on our seniors. We provide a safe haven for older dogs who have lost their homes, giving them peace and comfort. Our wonderful staff, along with our fabulous volunteers, work with local medical personnel to rehabilitate the dogs and bring back their joy. Once they are healthy, we find new homes for them, offering a second chance at unconditional love.

The Tommy Raskin Seniors 2 Seniors Program
provides pet food and supplies to senior citizens in Anne Arundel County. This program, honoring the late son of Congressman Jamie Raskin and his wife Sarah, works to ensure the older community keeps their dogs despite the hardships they may encounter.
