Take Me Home!
Laverne is patiently waiting to find her Shirley! This seven-year-old mixed breed is your perfect companion. She is calm and cuddly yet has a young dog's energy. Squirrels are not safe with this girl as she loves chasing them. With such a calm, sweet demeanor, we think she would thrive with other dogs. Let’s get this girl home. Check her out on our website and schedule a meet and greet.

No Senior Left Behind
At the Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland, we never give up on our seniors. We provide a safe haven for older dogs who have lost their homes, giving them peace and comfort. Our wonderful staff, along with our fabulous volunteers, work with local medical personnel to rehabilitate the dogs and bring back their joy. Once they are healthy, we find new homes for them, offering a second chance at unconditional love.
