This Border Collie mix needs a forever home. Lexi is 8 years old and came to us from a shelter. While slow to warm up, once she trusts you, all bets are off. You will have earned a fulltime cuddle bug. She would thrive best in an adult-only home with no other animals. If you have experience with Border Collies that would be a plus, but isn't necessary. Please reach out to us to meet Lexi and give her a second chance at a family.

No Senior Left Behind
At the Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland, we never give up on our seniors. We provide a safe haven for older dogs who have lost their homes, giving them peace and comfort. Our wonderful staff, along with our fabulous volunteers, work with local medical personnel to rehabilitate the dogs and bring back their joy. Once they are healthy, we find new homes for them, offering a second chance at unconditional love.

The Tommy Raskin Seniors 2 Seniors Program
provides pet food and supplies to senior citizens in Anne Arundel County. This program, honoring the late son of Congressman Jamie Raskin and his wife Sarah, works to ensure the older community keeps their dogs despite the hardships they may encounter.
