His painting style is a representational contemporary realism with an interest in ideas, symbolism, deeper meaning, and explores the question of motivation for painting a particular subject through the design, composition, handling of light and shadow, line and edge, and the shape and color of paint in a way that invites or intrigues the viewers conscious, and subconscious.
